Gmail introduced themes last week, and for some reason I can't set it to "SPACE" on anything other than my work computer. I think that SPACE is easily the best one.

Reunion
DVD packaging for the Mel Stanforth retrospective DVD "Reunion". I designed the DVD face for this project and dealt with having it correctly printed. I also helped build the functionality of the DVD itself.

'synecdoche, new york' blew my mind apart and left me in the quiet theater to clean up the mess. what an absolutely stunning 2 hours of my life. i would sit through that every single time i had the chance. it will take many viewings to pick up all the little bits and pieces and to really fully understand what was going on. love at first sight.

eagles of death metal live were a ton of fun. boots electric himself being a carolina boy (south) worked very hard to get the crowd hyped and to show his hollywood bandmates what we're all about. and seemingly, what we are all about is partying and getting shitty. i did my part to portray that image.

A never completed collection of employee portraits. Planned to be used on the redone EYE site. The red bearded guy in the second row is NOT me, believe it or not. That guys beard isn't really that red. I misjudged and never fixed.

speaking of moths, here's my submission for The L Magazine's 2008 Comix Issue. no idea if it was accepted or when this issue comes out. i guess i should get to emailing about that.
anyways. i couldn't sleep one night because these words were rolling around in my head. an hour later and it was all figured out in the sketchbook.

my sketchbook is currently filling up with drawings and short comics of moths. consider the cocoon hatched; tswob has taken a new form.
to beings greater than us, that see us as insignificant bugs, would icarus be considered a moth? he was a man/caterpillar, entered jail/cocoon, emerged a winged man/moth, flew towards the brightest thing he could find.
